Based in Somerville, MA, the members of Groovasaurus met at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The band members consisted of:
- Anita Suhanin: Vocals
- David Goodrich: Guitar
- Ian Kennedy: Guitar
- Ryan Claunch: Keyboards
- Mike Piehl: Drums
- Lou Ulrich: Bass
They were a fixture in the local music scene during the 90’s, winning the Boston Music Award twice. During that time they released three albums:
- Cheekus
- High Fidelity Adventure
- Hot Horny Amateurs
After eight successful years, Groovasaurus called it quits.
