Far Apart reminds me of the Equal Vision Records band Shift.
Hazel [Single] Review
by Mike DaRonco
A loud and aggressive musical presence is maintained
throughout this EP as Far Apart take three songs of post-punk
abrasiveness and transfer them onto record to create Hazel. Consisting
of four musicians who put their backs into each song they belt out, the
complex emotion of their music also has an undertone of pop that's led
by the crisp but sensitive vocals of Kalle Nyman. Best compared to
Seaweed without the metal influences, Far Apart provides the energy and
intensity to wake up any coffeehouse crowd.
