The Kittens were a three piece noise rock band, with some country influences, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Their albums were released on Sonic Unyon. After disbanding for almost eight years, they had a reunion show on News Years of 2007. Russell is now a member of Projektor. David Kelly died in March 2008.
Shawn Fedorchuk now directs films under the pseudonym "Lucifer Valentine".

Kittens and Shallow North Dakota (also known as Shallow) are both from Canada and play heavy noise. 


Shallow North Dakota is a three-piece noise rock/sludge metal band from Hamilton, Ontario. They have released several records on local label Sonic Unyon, and have toured with other notable Canadian acts such as Chore and Kittens.
