Forget Review by Thom Owens
Elephant Ride's debut album is a textured, relatively dark set of adult alternative rock that draws both on shifting waves of electric guitar and moody acoustic passsages. Not all of the tracks work -- occasionally, the group sounds more concerned with getting a sound than writing a song -- but it is a promising debut.
