WOLFIE And the Coat and Hat 2000

And the Coat and the Hat marks a different direction for the normally gleeful Wolfie. Instead of the sugarcoated indie pop and cutesy lyrics on which they built themselves, this EP uncovers a new maturity that scraps their original three-chord structure. Here, there's a foundation of new wave, Weezer-esque esthetics and dual male-female vocals. Resulting in a playful tone of upbeat pop, Wolfie's change is definitely a progression for the better
