Artist Biography by Jason Ankeny

Following in the tradition of feminist punk groups like the Raincoats and the Delta 5, the Sick Bees comprised singer/guitarist Starla, drummer Julio and J. Knolin, whose duties included "noise stuff." Their debut LP On the One appeared in 1998; My Pleasure followed two years later.
