The Hillary Step were a Kansas City, Missouri, band active from 1998-2002. The band played post-hardcore with math rock elements. The Hillary Step was lead by guitarist/vocalist Brad Hodgson, and featured bassist Brian Frisbie and drummer Danny McConnaughhay. The trio released The Second Time Means Nothing in 1999 on Urinine Records before ultimately dissolving in 2002 when Hodgson moved to Texas.
