Braille Review
by Nitsuh Abebe
Milkmine's Braille is a typically aggressive post-Big Black rock record, grinding through its gritty constructions with a modicum of power and a decent level of interest. There's a vague user-friendliness to the standard abrasion, though -- something in the band's metallic grooves and strangled screams can be almost hooky, and this is the only thing that separates Braille from its countless contemporaries.
