The tracks of Fremont and Sudden Fun are the same.

Slider was an alternative rock band formed in '93 by Matt Winegar (formerly of The Spent Poets), guitarist, vocalist and principal songwriter with Wic Coleman on bass and later joined by drummer Josh Freese. The trio recorded their album in 1994 and intended to release it the following year but their label A&M Records felt that that Winegar was in no shape to promote the record due to to his drug addiction and shelved it until '97 after Winergar had sobered up, during that period Wic left the band and Winegar re-recorded the bass, the album was then released with the title "Sudden Fun", despite originally been titled "Fremont". The band went on an indefinite hiatus as Freese abandoned the project to play with Devo in the summer of 1997 and after a lackluster showcase performance of the band in late May.
