I really had to try extremely hard to get this one!
AllMusic Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Picking up where Soundgarden left off, the Hagerstown, Maryland-based Foam turns in an impressive alternative-metal record with its debut album, Big Windshield Little Mirror. Foam
balances big, heavy anthems with ballads that have a slight rural edge,
and they're equally adept at both sides, particularly since producer Michael Beinhorn
knows how to record big, heavy rock. That doesn't mean the album is
without faults -- the melodies are slight, and the hooks don't always
take hold -- but there's enough power in the group's attack to make it a
worthy first effort.
