I'm back!
My house sustained damage from a massive water oak tree. Another oak tree just missed it. Highest winds were 102mph (164km).
I lost all of my food and sat in the dark for a week in 90 degree (32 Celsius) heat.
Thankfully it has finally cooled down a bit here and my internet was restored this morning.
I'm grateful it wasn't worse. Lots of people have damage worse than mine. I'm just glad it is over. It was the worst hurricane experience I've had and I have been through several hurricanes.
Thank you for all of your kind thoughts, emails and comments. Everyone who reached out to me kept me in a lifeline of support and that means a lot to me.
