Hailing from Tokyo, Japan, the electronic duo of 800 Cherries contains a pure pop innocence that they self-describe as "futurepop." Added to their influences of Lush, Stereolab, and the Free Design,
the two-piece lineup of Manami Marufuji and Masayuki Takahashi
self-released their first full-length Release Romantico in 1999.
