Artist Biography by Mike DaRonco
Bringing the innocent sophistication of melodic pop with a boy and girl vocal exchange to San Francisco, Skypark's tales of summer crushes and broken hearts were a mainstay throughout their brief career. With the influential charm of The Field Mice
and Sterolab that coincided with their own trademark of lighthearted
harmony, Shelflife Records took notice and released their one and only
release, Summer Days Are Forever in 1998. But before the EP was officially issued, Skypark disbanded not too long after recording it in 1997.
