AllMusic Review by Jack Rabid
The interest here is guitarist Louis Gutierrez, formerly of the vintage days of the '60s-sounding Three O'Clock and their precursor Salvation Army (since then, he has been in Mary's Danish). Another band, another style. Battery Acid's Rita finds Gutierrez taking a commercial stab, straddling alt rock with your basic early-'70s hard sound and a few misappropriated Hendrix-isms. Gretchen Seager is a fair singer, and they might be an MTV prospect in the early 2000s climate, but you may prefer to play Three O'Clock's Baroque Hoedown mini-LP instead.
