Ether (5) were a trio from Blackwood, Caerphilly. Formed
early 1996 and disbanded after the release of their one and only album,
in 1998. Rory Meredith wrote all the material, played Lead Guitar and
Sang. Gareth Driscoll played Bass and Brett Sawmy was the Drummer.
Signed by Regal Recordings after their first ever gig before moving on
to Parlophone soon afterwards. Unfortunately, chart success eluded them.
