Spy Versus Spy were a post-hardcore/emo-hardcore band from
Stoke-on-Trent in the United Kingdom. Formed in 1998, Spy Versus Spy
toured extensively in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe until their
split in 2001.
Spy Versus Spy briefly reformed in 2007 (with a slightly altered
line-up) in order to perform a short UK tour to promote the release of
their remastered discography. This culminated with them headlining the
'Out of Spite' festival in Leeds.
Members went on to play in the bands Future Adventures, The Wow, The Leif Ericsson, Radio Alice, Sequing and Panachio and SAMES.
