This pop punk demo tape kind of reminded me of Jawbreaker, but less tight. - Blogatrix
| A punk-pop trio based in Fremont, California.
Jolt was formed in the San Francisco Bay area in 1992. Originally
consisting of singer/bassist and principal songwriter Paul Duarte,
Drummer Jim Pittman (formerly of Slambodians and later of The Mr.T
Experience), and guitarist Karl Matthies (formerly of Slambodians). Jolt
released several songs on various labels with this lineup. Jim and Karl
were later replaced and Paul Duarte went on to record several more
singles as Jolt with various other members.
