Hailing from Athens, GA, the alterna-rock trio Trinket classfies its music to be a swirl of alternative pop between the modern rock sounds of the Goo Goo Dolls and the glam rockers of T. Rex, David Bowie, and the Rolling Stones. They were discovered by Michael Stipe and played the 1998 X-Games tour. Set to Explode came out in June 2000.
